Professional Experience

Demi-lee Mpati, a law school graduate with an LLM in Health Law and Policy, and certified in Healthcare Compliance, is skilled in regulatory research, policy drafting, sanction screening, and analyzing federal health care regulations including the False Claims Act, Anti-kickback Statute, and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules. Ms. Mpati assists senior consultants on engagements such as program development, implementation, evaluation, and management. Additionally, Ms. Mpati performs compliance program reviews, evaluates clients’ adherence to Corporate Integrity Agreement requirements, and provides compliance advisory service

Previous Work Experience

Prior to joining Strategic Management, Ms. Mpati interned at Children’s National Hospital. There, in the Compliance Department, Ms. Mpati assisted in internal audits, evaluated risk assessment surveys, compiled training material, analyzed proposed regulations, and conducted extensive research on global telemedicine laws, and health equity initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked as an attorney in South Africa, specializing in Personal Injury Law.
