Professional Experience
Natalie Lesnick is an attorney licensed in Ohio and is Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC). She specializes in research and analysis of Medicare and Medicaid program rules and federal health care regulations. Ms. Lesnick is often engaged to conduct compliance program effectiveness reviews and gap analyses for a variety of provider types including, hospitals and health systems, skilled nursing and long-term care, emergency medical transportation, and durable medical equipment companies. Skilled in regulatory analysis, Ms. Lesnick frequently partners with senior consultants on engagements to assess clients’ understanding of and compliance with federal and state healthcare laws, rules and regulations. Additionally, Ms. Lesnick serves on a team that evaluates clients’ adherence to Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA) requirements and the effectiveness of their compliance program.
Ms. Lesnick also serves as an Interim Compliance and Privacy Officer in which she maintains day-to-day operations of the compliance and privacy programs, while also assessing and addressing gaps in the programs to improve its effectiveness and align it with the OIG’s expectation. Â
Previous Work Experience
Prior to joining Strategic Management, Ms. Lesnick worked at a pharmaceutical company specializing in rare diseases. There, in the Corporate Compliance Department, Ms. Lesnick created and presented training on high-risk areas, analyzed government-recommended compliance practices, drafted data privacy policies and reviewed agreements for compliance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws. Earlier in her career, she worked at a top-ten hospital system in both research and institutional development capacities and at a national insurance company in its Legal and Compliance Department.
