The presentation will be held by former HHS Inspector General and CEO of Strategic Management Services, Richard Kusserow, along with Carrie Kusserow, Managing Senior Consultant, who has over 15 years of experience as a compliance officer and consultant. The 60-minute presentation will be followed by a question and answer session where the speakers will respond to individual questions regarding challenges facing Compliance Officers in 2018.
Richard Kusserow is the Former Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services and is CEO of Strategic Management Services, which has been providing specialized compliance advisory services since 1992. Under his leadership, Strategic Management Services provides a broad range of advisory services including organization assessments, financial/legal fact-finding, values and vulnerabilities assessments, program analyses, special studies/reports, policy development, and specialized education/training programs.
Carrie Kusserow, is a Managing Senior Consultant with Strategic Management Services with over 15 years experience working with organizations to implement Corporate Integrity Agreements (CIAs) and with Boards to act as a Compliance Expert. She has served as Chief Compliance Officer for several organizations, including those under a CIA.
