14th Annual Healthcare Compliance Benchmark Report
Strategic Management is pleased to announce the release of the 14th Annual Healthcare Compliance Benchmark Report. This Report provides a summary of the results from the 14th Annual Healthcare Compliance Benchmark Survey, conducted by SAI360 and Strategic Management Services. An analysis of the survey results was completed by Richard P. Kusserow, former HHS Inspector General and CEO of Strategic Management. One objective of the Survey was to gain a better understanding of the status and progress of compliance program development in the healthcare sector. The Survey included questions related to the current state of healthcare compliance, including demographic data, resource levels, reporting relationships, compliance program operations, challenges, and priorities for 2023.
Additionally, in response to suggestions from past survey respondents, several questions were added to the 2023 survey question set, as well as others were deleted from the previous year’s survey question set. Findings, along with an analysis of the significance of results, are based upon respondents from organizations ranging from small physician practices to large healthcare systems. The largest block of respondents work in the hospital setting, followed by physician/group practices, clinics, and ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care and, lastly, behavioral health.
