3rd Annual HIPAA Compliance Survey Report

Strategic Management is pleased to announce the release of the 3rd Annual HIPAA Compliance Report. This Report provides a summary of the results from the 3rd Annual HIPAA Compliance Survey, conducted by Strategic Management Services and SAI360. An analysis of the survey results was completed by Robbi-Lynn Watnik, JD, CHPC, Senior Consultant at Strategic Management, and Natalie Lesnick, JD, CHC, CHPC, Consultant at Strategic Management. One objective of the Survey was to gain a better understanding of the status and progress of HIPAA privacy program development in the healthcare sector. The Survey included questions related to the current state of privacy compliance, including demographic data, resource levels, reporting relationships, privacy program operations, challenges, and priorities for 2024.

About the Author

Robbi-Lynn Watnik is an attorney, Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC). She has over 35 years of experience in health care policy, with a special focus on health care compliance and privacy over the last 25 years. Ms. Watnik conducts research and analysis of, and provides guidance on federal regulations around privacy, security, and government health care programs. She has been engaged several times to serve as a Designated Compliance Officer.
