Ms. Grantham is licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana, where she primarily focused on health care policy and regulations. Her portfolio includes working for the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, working at the in-house legal department for Ochsner Health System (Louisiana’s largest non-profit health care system), and for Sullivan & Stolier, LLC, a boutique health law firm focusing on advising clients and hospitals with respect to the business aspect of the health care industry.
Ms. Grantham currently provides regulatory analysis and research for nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospitals, and other health care entities. In her consulting experience, Ms. Grantham has drafted and implemented training programs in a variety of health care areas, including HIPAA compliance, completed Independent Review Organization (IRO) reports for health care entities under government contracts, and has served as a compliance expert to Boards of Directors under a Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA). Her experience from working in a variety of health care settings also supports Strategic Management’s weekly and monthly updates on relevant rules in the health care industry.
Previous Work Experience
Prior to joining Strategic Management, Ms. Grantham did legislative policy work for the American Continental Group in Washington, D.C., where she focused on healthcare and Judiciary Committee issues. She advocated for clients’ interests with Congressional staffers, administration officials, and other third party organizations while tracking legislation related to the FDA User Fee Acts, the Affordable Care Act and tax reform. Ms. Grantham also served as a legal fellow for Congressman Steven M. Palazzo (MS-05) where she drafted correspondence regarding legislative and policy areas for constituents on healthcare and other issues.
Ms. Grantham attended the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where she earned her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law while serving as the Moot Court Board Vice President. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Mass Communications.
